Meetings

The Catholic Professional and Business Club meets the second Thursday of each month at the New Cassel Retirement Center – 900 North 90th Street, Omaha, NE 68114 The meetings run from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. At each meeting members are given the opportunity to network with one another. Further each meeting has 2-3 members give a short presentation about their business and then we hear form a local or national speaker with a message to encourage and motivate our members to live an exemplary Catholic Lifestyle in their own business and personal environments.

Each meeting begins with a half hour of networking time. This is a chance to meet fellow business men and women in the area, get to know them and allow them to get to know you. It is through this networking opportunity that business relationships will be fostered and grow into what will hopefully a be long term working relationships. It is also a time where you will get to know those in the community better and eventually help them grow in their faith.

A buffet lunch is served at each meeting. Lunch is served immediately after networking and continues through club business, announcements, and monthly member presentations.

Our speakers are hand chosen to help us better merge our business life, ethics and faith into our daily lives. Speakers range from our very own Archbishop George Lucas to locally and nationally know personalities. Topics include faith in the market place, social justice issues, apologetics, ethics and many more. Often they are humorous sometime they are poignant but they always make you think about your life and how faith plays a role in it daily. Often the speaker opens up the floor for questions and answers so we get a better understanding of the topic at hand.

Each meeting concludes with a closing prayer and when time allows more networking.

The Board of Directors wish to encourage you to join the Catholic Professional and Business Club and enjoy networking with fellow Catholic business men and women.
