Our History

Catholic Business Group Omaha (CBGO) was founded in 2014, and originally as Catholic Professional & Business Club. The goal was to uphold our Catholic beliefs in every aspect of our daily lives, and to gather to share with others who seek a more ethical business environment with the desire to enhance spirituality in the workplace, communicating by our actions God’s presence and guidance as we continue our life journey. We encourage one another in our Catholic Faith and strive to achieve a co-mingling of our ethical and professional obligations, with the truth that ethics and business need not be mutually exclusive terms.

I have found the journey faith is challenging when walking alone. Having the opportunity to meet others on the path, to hear their stories, encourages me to live my faith. Together we attract and support each other. These are blessed moments. It is like being the early church as found in the Acts of the Apostles.

I have been a member of the Catholic Business Group of Omaha for 6 years. My business and I have benefitted greatly from the like-minded group networking and the Catholic-based inspirational speakers.
